Just Another Way We Improve Our Service Dr. Kokonas is pleased to offer the service of custom shading to you. We want to offer you the highest quality of dentistry, and this is one way we do that. Teeth have a variety of shapes and colors. In one person's mouth, there can be a variety of shade....even on one tooth. When we fabricate crown, veneer, or bridge for you, we choose the predominant shade of your tooth. Then we take digital photos to send to the lab. Sometimes even though we do this, the colour isn't 100%. With custom shading, we bring the lab to you. Rudy, a registered lab technician comes to our office ensures the fit and colour of your restoration. We can then adjust the restoration according to need and to your preferences. Rudy then bakes and seals the crown so it can be inserted the same day, requiring no additional visits for you.
With spring and summer just around the corner, flowers will be blooming, and so will Dentistry in Bolton. We, at Dentistry In Bolton, are undergoing some exciting spring changes. To kick off spring, we are offering an in office draw for our patients for a Sonicare Flexcare power toothbrush. At your next appointment, please fill out a ballot in our reception area. As our practice continues to grow, and in keeping with our commitment to offering optimal oral health for life to our patients, we are expanding our services and expanding our hours. Dentistry for Children, Young Adults, and Special Needs. We are pleased to announce that Dr Philip has joined our team for 2010. Dr. Philip graduated from the University of Toronto with his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees. He completed his residency program at the Hospital for Sick Children, which included placements at Princess Margaret Hospital, Bloorview MacMillan Centre and Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr Philip focuses on children, young adults and special needs patients. He is dedicated to providing quality dental care and looks forward to meeting you and your family.
Congratulations Dr Chrissy Kokonas! Dr Kokonas received her FELLOWSHIP AWARD from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. The team went out for dinner to congratulate Dr Kokonas on her achievements.

Continuing Our Dental Education
Dr. Kokonas has furthered her studies at The Centre for Advanced Dental Education for Oral Plastic Surgery in Dallas, as well as The Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Miami and The Scottsdale Centre for Dentistry. Dr. Kokonas is very current in many aspects of comprehensive, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry. Dr. Kokonas also has the privilege to be a part of The Spear Institute Study Faculty Club, as well as other dental organizations

Published in Oral Health ~ May 2008 Dental Implants: Dr Kokonas Invited to Germany for VIP Tour and Training April 2007: Dr Kokonas and Dr Ken Serota were invited to attend the VIP tour and training of the Friadent/Densply Tulsa Dental Ankylos Implant Facility in Frankfurt and Hanau Germany. The Doctors will be working together to educate patients and other dentists on the Ankylos system as it correlates with the endo/implant algorithm. |
