Why would I need a dental bonding?

Dental bonding can be used for the following:

  • Fix cracked, chipped or close spacing between the teeth
  • Repair discoloration
  • Restore decayed teeth
  • Change the shape of a tooth

What is the procedure for dental bonding?

  1. The dentist places the resin on the tooth.
  2. The shade is chosen to match the adjacent teeth.
  3. After the last layer is placed, the tooth is hardened by a high-intensity light.
  4. The tooth is then shaped to appear and feel like your natural tooth.
*The bonding procedure takes about 30 - 60 minutes per tooth to complete.
